Poland in accordance to the EU commitments should by 2020 reach the 15-percent level of the share of RES in overall energy consumption. Polish potential in the field of biomass is high (895 PJ), also wind energy potential is large - estimated at 5-10 MW in the country, to this should be added the value of the potential of hydropower, solar energy and geothermal energy.
