Abstract
The article raise the questions related to the growing demand for knowledge of Polish agriculture and the
sources of supply of this knowledge. It was indicated at necessary to complete development gap separating
them from agriculture of many EU states and even world ones. It was emphasized that the way to stimulate
knowledge-absorbing capacity of the sector is a workable system of vocational education. Purpose of the
study is the evaluation of vocational education (including agriculture) in Poland. Diagnosing this complex
research area the deck research method was used. It allowed to obtain approximate situation of the vocational
education system. This system changing gradually, although this changes can be described as too slowed in
relation to dynamics changes of competitive environment, especially in techno- technological field.
