The aim of the research was to identify trends in the use of credit and lease by farmers and agricultural enterprises financing of investments’ expenditures in Poland. A hypothesis about the growing importance of debt financing of investment in agriculture was formulated in the paper. The population were agricultural enterprises and individual farmers in Poland in the years 2006-2012. The study used data from the Central Statistical Office, National Polish Bank and Polish Leasing Association. The results presented in the paper proved the hypothesis.
