Pricing in Boston market is found to be more strategic than in the New York market. Plausible reasons can be due to retail pricing laws, ownership structures of retail chains, and brand loyalty. This paper also looks at the impact of North East Dairy Compact on retail pricing in Boston. Strategic pricing behavior in the Boston market changed dramatically and became less competitive after the Compact. 000201550 650__ $$aFood Consumption/Nutrition/Food Safety 000201550 650__ $$aResearch and Development/Tech Change/Emerging Technologies 000201550 650__ $$aResearch Methods/Statistical Methods 000201550 700__ $$aDhar, Tirtha Pratim 000201550 700__ $$aRay, Subhash 000201550 8564_ $$978fd04d5-b252-40fb-92ed-2681201bad1a$$s888728$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/201550/files/wp2002-7.pdf 000201550 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/201550 000201550 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:201550$$pGLOBAL_SET 000201550 912__ $$nSubmitted by Abigail Porter (porte542@umn.edu) on 2015-04-13T19:19:41Z No. of bitstreams: 1 wp2002-7.pdf: 888728 bytes, checksum: 9af52e4caf79ac2fcd9c4726adbccdce (MD5) 000201550 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2015-04-13T19:19:41Z (GMT).
