Selected problems of human capital in agriculture were presented. The quality of this capital and problems of its measurement have been also discussed. The role of human capital as a primary factor and a substance of intellectual capital was shown. Some typical features of human capital in agricultural farms which distinguish farms from other market objects have been considered. Partial results of a research on the intellectual capital in agriculture focusing on its human resources was presented. / Synopsis. W artykule zaprezentowano wybrane kwestie związane z kapitałem ludzkim w rolnictwie, w tym kwestie jakości tego kapitału oraz problemy pomiaru. Wskazano na rolę kapitału ludzkiego jako podstawowego nośnika i tworzywa kapitału intelektualnego gospodarstw. Omówiono cechy tego kapitału typowe dla gospodarstw rolnych, a zarazem wyróżniające je spośród innych podmiotów rynkowych. Przedstawiono cząstkowe wyniki badań kapitału ludzkiego w gospodarstwach o różnym kierunku produkcji.
