Abstract
We estimate the effects of risk attitudes and social interactions on technology adoption using a
survey of dairy producers in Ontario. We find strong evidence that social interactions and risk
attitudes have significant effects on the willingness to pay for DNA genotyping service for
susceptibility to chronic mastitis in dairy.
