El importante papel que desempeña el colectivo de sociedades cooperativas almazareras en la economía andaluza justifica que el estudio de los problemas que amenazan su continuidad en el tiempo sea objeto de especial atención. La profesionalización de los puestos de responsabilidad en este tipo de organizaciones es uno de los problemas de mayor trascendencia que han de afrontar estas empresas. La transición hacia una gestión profesionalizada es el caldo de cultivo idóneo para la aparición de problemas en la organización.
