This is not always the case when we take into account the productivity gains linked to the environmental innovations. A series of works combining theoretical argument, case studies and empirical analysis from survey data were mobilized to find out whether innovating may prove to be profitable for the firm to answer environmental constraints. In identifying the circumstances and mechanisms involved results suggest that if environmental policies favour innovation, they are generally expensive for the firms subject to it. 000156640 650__ $$aEnvironmental Economics and Policy 000156640 650__ $$aResearch and Development/Tech Change/Emerging Technologies 000156640 700__ $$aAmbec, Stefan 000156640 700__ $$aLanoie, Paul 000156640 773__ $$tINRA Sciences Sociales$$d2007$$j2007 000156640 8564_ $$99dd24862-1e19-4060-81ae-5d686566f8b7$$s250113$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/156640/files/iss07-6_eng.pdf 000156640 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/156640 000156640 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:156640$$pGLOBAL_SET 000156640 912__ $$nSubmitted by Sophie Drogue (drogue@supagro.inra.fr) on 2013-09-12T13:40:46Z No. of bitstreams: 1 iss07-6_eng.pdf: 250113 bytes, checksum: 545acb2638860c4a5224f41aba2e7e4b (MD5) 000156640 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2013-09-12T13:40:46Z (GMT).
