By cross-checking the elements of behavioural economic analysis and game theory, we propose to differentiate between the main sources of ineffectiveness of such actions and, in particular, the weakness of coordination between participants, the potentially massive presence of free-riders, the characteristics of markets and alternative technologies, and so on. These studies will help towards the identification of areas for reflection on the relative effectiveness of the socially aware consumption. We illustrate the subject with the example of tropical timber logging. 000151301 650__ $$aEnvironmental Economics and Policy 000151301 650__ $$aIndustrial Organization 000151301 700__ $$aDelacote, Philippe 000151301 773__ $$tINRA Sciences Sociales$$d2010$$j2010 000151301 8564_ $$99e9bc730-4229-4fd3-8157-b241179dbdfb$$s105664$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/151301/files/iss10-6_eng.pdf 000151301 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/151301 000151301 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:151301$$pGLOBAL_SET 000151301 912__ $$nSubmitted by Sophie Drogue (drogue@supagro.inra.fr) on 2013-06-17T09:11:51Z No. of bitstreams: 1 iss10-6_eng.pdf: 105664 bytes, checksum: 3db9a788bd0d87b5b9920f48084b25f6 (MD5) 000151301 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2013-06-17T09:11:53Z (GMT).
