Abstract
This paper analyses the farming technical efficiency that make forest activities. The
purpose is to assess the impact of the political minimum salary and political fiscal in forest
subsector that it is implemented by the governments during the period 1998-2005. I use
data base of home survey (MECOVI) from INIDE and the methodology of measuring
known as Stochastic Frontier Production Function (Coelli, 1995).
Generally speaking, we observe a decreasing trend, but it is acceptable in a 0.90 of the
technical efficiency in the farms that combine the forest activity like likelihood in your
home. It is evidenced as a positive impact and increasing of application taxation policy
and forest technology that promote forest measure that contribute to improve the
environmental ecosystem.
The governmental institutions that either supervises or monitoring the implement of this
political measure, I suggest them consider this investigation results as far as to improve
your applicable to political forest with special emphasis in farmers training and education
of technology applicable in the forest sector.
