This study evaluated peanut producers I attitudes towards a potential futures market under alternative policies. The profiles of different producer groups were identified. The group with attitudes particularly influenced by government policies was investigated. The analysis indicated that such groups are mainly from Texas-Oklahoma, progressive in information search and less educated.
