Abstract

There is a high relationship between food industry production and agricultural production. The level of food industry production is dependent on the efficiency of its own production as well as that of agricultural production. During the last ten to twelve years, the food industry and the agricultural production have decreased to 26-29%, as compared to 1989 (constant prices). The reason was a significant increase of food sales prices and a decrease in consumers' income, which considerably reduced food demand. However, prices depend on the position (power) of traders, especially offering prices (as well as demand ones).
