STRUKTURNE A PROCESNE TRENDY V AGRARNOM MANAZMENTE Z ASPEKTU USPESNEHO PODNIKANIA NA PODE

Present trends in agrarian management in the Slovak Republic are aimed at creating conditions for the accession to the EU, which is in the context with effort to maintain sustainable development of an agricultural country. The work evaluates, within the given tendencies, the factors of successfulness and/or bankruptcy of entities engaged in farming. Considering that a number of profit—making enterprises decreased in the last economic year, the managers have to look for the posibilities of eliminating the adverse influence of both external and internal factors on business activities. Among external factors were inflation, regulated prices, increase in indirect taxes, price disparity, ownership relations and credit conditions. As to internal factors, these are, for example, an attitude of the enterprise management or owners in terms of managing, flexibility and production innovation, access to foreign capital, as well as the strategic approach of top managers of the enterprises engaged in primary production.
