NOVE TRENDY SUVISIACE SO ZVYSOVANIM EFEKTIVNOSTI ZASOBOVACIEHO PROCESU

The paper presents some new trends in efficiency improvement of inventory policy. The so-called "exchange curves" applied in the analysis represent the relations among selected efficiency measures depending on a demand type. In case of the deterministic demand an approach is primarily applied which enables to approximate some input data related to the application of mathematical models in the inventory process management of productive subjects. Further, the analysis of the possibilities for an improvement in efficiency of the existing strategy of placing orders is presented, based on "exchange curves". An attention has also been paid to the cases with random demand. Here the possibilities of stockout decrease are analysed using "exchange curves".
