Spending high cost on creation and operation of the information systems in business enterprises in comparison with their economic gain is a long-term problem, depending on several factors. Based on the analysis of the costs spent on the information systems designed for agriculture, it is possible to implement the intentions concerning an economic gain of the information systems used under different conditions of agricultural production. These include a sum of costs, an economic gain in quantitative terms, and an estimation of the risks which can result in unsuccessful creation or updating of the information system.
