The results show that the effects of institutional transformation, as well as those of the organizational environment over the choices of the agribusinesses were the same. This was expected given that the analyzed companies are a part of the same market, economic sector, institutional and organizational environment, and are located within the same state. We verified that changes in the institutional environment directly impacted the forms of transitioning and positioning of the companies. We also confirmed actions regarding the change of the institutional environment made by the agribusinesses, with representatives from all governmental spheres for defending the interest of the sector.
