Abstract

The aim of the research was to show the evolution of added value in the export of Polish and selected European countries with particular emphasis on products bioeconomy. For the analysis the trade statistics of added value published by the WTO and the OECD have been used. The results show that in the analyzed period there was a significant increase in the domestic value-added gross export, higher than the others (except for Russia) countries analyzed. Despite such a significant increase the domestic value added per capita in Polish exports significantly differs from most of the analyzed countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In the case of bioeconomy products their participation in the domestic value-added in Polish gross exports was significantly higher than in other products. In the analyzed period the decline in the share of domestic value added in Polish export of bioeconomy products was also lower in relation to other products.
