Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze factors affecting adult education among the rural population. The study used data from 2013, based on the 7688 questionnaires. Logistic regression model was used to determine the education activity. Research shows that the education activity depends mostly on responder’s status on the labor market (working individuals more frequently continue education), their competences and regular use of the Internet, age and professional experience. In terms of levels of education, people with primary education are least likely to continue learning. Possession of the individual farm has a negative effect on the rural population’s educational activity.
