Abstract
The aim of the paper was to present the economic appraisal of the intervention in the agricultural
land market in the light of the Austrian school of economics. The analysis refers mainly to the formation of
agricultural system policy, which is a specialized type of land allocation policy. The essence of the Austrian
school perception of the interventionism comes down to the fact that it introduces the force in place of
voluntary cooperation. It leads to the redistribution of wealth and decline in social productivity.
