Abstract
The sale prices of Baltic sea fish, often referred to first sale prices obtained by fisherman at ports, similarly
to the prices of other food products are shaped by many factors. Mutual linkages of the factors and direction
of their impact on the level of prices are very difficult to estimate. To recognise at least rough patterns and
future changes on a given market is of great importance in the decision-making process in the future. The
paper addresses an analysis of the patterns of changes in the prices of basic fish species over the past 11 years.
