000212779 520__ $$aThe level of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere is connected with the production of renewable energy. The world seems to be more and more aware of the harmful influence of greenhouse gas on the environment. One of the factors that can cut down the emission is increasing the production of renewable energy. The research of 26 countries of the EU was based on data from 2012. The ranking arrangements of the EU-26 were constructed with respect to three features:
- the level of greenhouse gas emission;
- the average rate of changes in the emission of greenhouse gas;
- the level of production of renewable energy.
The mpq measure was used to make the comparisons between ranking arrangements. The results only partially confirm the hypothesis of the conformance of the relationship between greenhouse gas emission and renewable energy production in the EU countries. / Synopsis. Wielkość emisji gazów cieplarnianych do atmosfery jest powiązana z produkcją energii odnawialnej. Na świecie obserwuje się rosnącą świadomość szkodliwego wpływu gazów cieplarnianych na środowisko naturalne. Jednym z czynników mogących ograniczyć ową emisję jest wciąż wzrastająca produkcja energii odnawialnej. W badaniach państw UE-26 wykorzystano dane pochodzące z 2012 roku. Zbudowano rankingi państw UE-26 ze względu na trzy cechy:
- wielkość emisji gazów cieplarnianych,
- przeciętne tempo zmian emisji gazów cieplarnianych,
- wielkość produkcji energii odnawialnej.
Wykorzystując miernik mpq porównano rankingi ze sobą.
Porównania międzyrankingowe tylko częściowo potwierdzają wysuniętą hipotezę o zgodności układów porządkowych: emisja gazów cieplarnianych - produkcja energii odnawialnej w państwach UE.
