Optimum Treatment Rate for Tebuthiuron on Rangeland Infested with Sand Shinnery Oak

Tebuthiuron for control of sand shinnery oak on rangeland in the Texas Rolling Plains was evaluated. Grass yield was estimated to be a function of the treatment rate of tebuthiuron. The treatment rate of 0.478 kg/ha was found to be the optimum given representative livestock prices and costs of application used.
