Abstract
In view of the intensive development of the catering industry and increased competition in this sector
is extremely important the quality of services provided. A company that wants to adapt their services to the
requirements of consumers should get to know. The aim of this study was asessment of influence of selected
factors on the choice of catering establishments. Respondents considered the most important components
of the quality of catering services sensory characteristics of foods, namely: taste, appearance and aroma.
Price occupied a high position among the factors influencing the choice of a catering facility, as well as
among factors determining the quality of catering services.
