Abstract
The aim of this article was to evaluate the consumption of milk and milk products by the students of
the University of Economics in Wroclaw. The study used a questionnaire which was filled by 130 full-time
students aged 20-24.The collected data show that 40% of students consume milk at least once a day, including
almost half of men and 38% women. Students were more likely to have used butter than margarine as bread
spreads. Students most often choose milk with a fat content up to 2%. Among cheeses most consumed was
yellow cheeses and cottage cheese spreads. Most of the students have milk drinks, both natural and fruit
flavor in their diet. Students are aware of the importance of milk and dairy products in their diet.
