Depending on the specification, consumption shares matter for traffic fatalities in the 15-19 year age group, but results are not conclusive. Initial state median income is however a strong predictor of lower traffic mortality rates in ensuing years. Dieser Beitrag verwendet Querschnittsdaten von Bundesstaaten und Zeitreihen verschiedener Regionen der USA, um den Effekt des Konsumanteils von Bier versus hochprozentiger alkoholischer Getränke auf die Zahl der jugendlichen Verkehrstoten zu messen. Die Resultate sind nicht eindeutig und hängen von der genauen Spezifikation der Schätzung ab. Was jedoch gezeigt werden kann, ist, dass es einen klar negativen Zusammenhang zwischen dem Median Einkommen eines Bundesstaates (einer Region) und der zukünftigen Verkehrssterblichkeitsrate gibt. 000199831 650__ $$aDemand and Price Analysis 000199831 650__ $$aHealth Economics and Policy 000199831 6531_ $$aalcohol consumption 000199831 6531_ $$atraffic mortality 000199831 6531_ $$aalcohol control laws 000199831 6531_ $$aAlkoholkonsum 000199831 6531_ $$aVerkehrssterblichkeit 000199831 6531_ $$aGesetze zur Beschränkung von Alkohol 000199831 700__ $$aFreeman, Donald G. 000199831 773__ $$q254$$o264$$tGerman Journal of Agricultural Economics$$j61$$k04$$d2012 000199831 8564_ $$999c4aa79-ab7e-45e1-9785-3a67f040dc93$$s316830$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/199831/files/5_Freemann.pdf 000199831 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/199831 000199831 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:199831$$pGLOBAL_SET 000199831 912__ $$nSubmitted by Kerstin Oertel (k.oertel@agrar.hu-berlin.de) on 2015-03-13T08:24:13Z No. of bitstreams: 1 5_Freemann.pdf: 316830 bytes, checksum: b16e96c804405ad36f2e287b64e8794f (MD5) 000199831 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2015-03-13T08:24:13Z (GMT).
