000186936 520__ $$aEn este trabajo se plantea un analisis economico con el que valorar la eficiencia en la uso del agua que puede alcanzarse con un proyectyo de modernizacion de regadios.  la comparacion entre una situacion inicial y otra con proyecto, bajo ciertos escenarios complementarios -que se refieren al cambio o no de la orientacion productiva, al ajuste de riegos a las necesidades teoricas y a la sustitucion del sistema de aplicacion-, se establece mediante unos indicadores de eficiencia, tales como la renta esperada, la productividad aparente neta atribuible al agua, la predicible reduccion en su demanda, asi como un indice coste-eficacia.  Este analisis requiere una gran cantidad de datos, algunos de ellos de dificil determinacion, pues responden a previsiones o expectativas de futuro, que podrian desvirtuar los resultados finales.  Se recomienda en consecuencia una busqueda precisa de esos datos en la zona beneficiada, en especial, los relativos a las producciones de los cultivos, los volumenes de agua aplicados y los realmente requeridos, los gastos de explotacion y la eficiencia en el transporte del agua. In this paper an economic analysis is intended for assessment of the efficiency in the use of water which could be achieved by means of a modernisation plan of irrigation networks.  Comparison between the initial situation and the ones which come up after the plan's implementation, under several scenarios of complementary uses of water, related to the change of agricultural production, the adjustment of consumption to the theoretical water requirements of crops and the replacement of the irrigation system at farm level, is dealt with performance indicators, such as the foreseen farm income, the water net productivity, and predicted demand reduction or a cost/effectiveness ratio.  This analysis demands a big deal of data, some of them difficult to achieve as long as they stand for expectations, which might spoil the results.  Consequently a precise research of this data in the targeted area is strongly recommended, specially the one related to goods production, water amounts supplied and really required, operational costs and efficiency in transport networks.
