But is it really an economic issue? This study suggests that even though it is acknowledged that wind erosion has an environmental cost, it is not economic to simply try and fix all wind erosion prone areas in South Australia. Land managers and therefore government policy needs to be selective about the areas they treat, and the strategies used, in order for there to be an economic benefit of ameliorating wind erosion in South Australia. 000137807 546__ $$aEnglish 000137807 650__ $$aEnvironmental Economics and Policy 000137807 6531_ $$abenefit-cost analysis 000137807 6531_ $$awind erosion 000137807 6531_ $$atargeted strategies 000137807 700__ $$aChambers, Adam 000137807 700__ $$aBright, Melissa 000137807 700__ $$aForward, Giles 000137807 8564_ $$97f44df95-5c03-431d-bdc7-19c7090b1bd7$$s537699$$uhttps://ageconsearch.umn.edu/record/137807/files/2005_chambers.pdf 000137807 887__ $$ahttp://purl.umn.edu/137807 000137807 909CO $$ooai:ageconsearch.umn.edu:137807$$pGLOBAL_SET 000137807 912__ $$nSubmitted by Kayla Schanus (schan099@umn.edu) on 2012-11-01T19:11:15Z No. of bitstreams: 1 2005_chambers.pdf: 537699 bytes, checksum: 75289a0c0672bcc3028b700bcf834fda (MD5) 000137807 912__ $$nMade available in DSpace on 2012-11-01T19:11:18Z (GMT).
