O objetivo geral do trabalho foi discutir o acesso ao crédito dos pequenos produtores associados à CRESOL Cascavel e suas conseqüências sobre a produção e as condições de vida desses produtores. Especificamente procurou-se, em um primeiro momento, avaliar os principais indicadores de desempenho do Sistema CRESOL e da CRESOL Cascavel, demonstrando sua evolução ao longo dos anos. Em um segundo momento levantou-se as principais características sócio-econômicas dos associados da CRESOL Cascavel. Finalmente, foram verificados os principais problemas e benefícios que os produtores atendidos por ela, tem em relação ao acesso ao crédito cooperativo. Utilizou-se de pesquisa de campo, visando uma percepção mais próxima da realidade dos produtores rurais atendidos pela CRESOL Cascavel. Os resultados obtidos sinalizaram que o acesso ao crédito representam um importante atributo no desenvolvimento humano sustentável e também que a CRESOL Cascavel foi fundamental para o incremento do acesso ao crédito rural, melhorando a produção, comercialização e consumo.-----------------------------------------------The general objective of this paper was to discuss the access to the credit of the small producers associated to the CRESOL Cascavel and its consequences on the production and the life conditions of these producers. At a first moment it was specially evaluate the main pointers of CRESOL Systems performance and the CRESOL Cascavel, being demonstrated its evolution throughout the years. At second moment it was elected the main partnership economic characteristics of the CRESOL Cascavel associates. Finally it was verified the main problems and producers benefits that are associate to CRESOL Cascavel have taken Cascavel in relation to the access to the cooperative credit. To get better result, this research used of field information which gave a perception of agricultural producers reality who receive benefit of CRESOL Cascavel. The gotten results had signaled that the access to the credit also represents an important attribute in the sustainable human development and that the CRESOL Cascavel was basic for the increment of the access to the agricultural credit, improving the production, commercialization and consumption.
