Abstract: This document provides the information about commercialization dynamics collected in some areas of Central and Northern Mozambique. In addition, it provides some policy actions that could promote the agricultural products commercialization. The results show that the maize production varies in the studied areas. However, most of the interviewees think that agricultural production, especially maize production, improved in 2005/06 season when compared to the previous season. In addition, an increase in prices is expected. It was found that the measures to limit trade with neighboring countries must balance the hunger alleviation in short term with the long term benefits of trade with neighboring countries. Moreover, there is a need to rehabilitate some roads, especially in areas with high agricultural potential, in order to enable market access.
