Abstract: Macro economic impacts of rice-husk power plants (RHPP) in Thailand were analyzed by an Input/Output method. Results show that RHPP decreased sensitivity coefficients especially in the petroleum-sector, economic merits were realized in the agricultural-sector but total induced production effects were lowered, and induced imports by consumption were reduced with RHPP.
