| Abstract: | Seven of 196 New York dairy farms used on-farm computers for accounting in 1984, rising to 23 in 1987. A regression of net farm income per cow on computer use, years computer experience and other variables showed income increasing the first year of computer use, dropping and rising again by year four. |
